Team Modena

Location: High Wycombe, Great Britain

Cars run: 1 x DBR9

Drivers: Antonio Garcia, Tomas Enge

Team history:
The British-based Team Modena is run by Graham Schultz - a prominent figure in the automotive industry who founded several supercar dealerships in Britain. The team's personnel has worked with several different manufacturers over the years, including more than 10 Formula 1 teams.

Team highlights:
Last year, Team Modena placed fourth in the Le Mans Series LM GT1, with its best placement as second in Silverstone, where home driver Garcia and the British driver Darren Turner alternated at the wheel of the black-and-grey special. Garcia placed sixth in the overall standings of all drivers.

The team took its first FIA GT Championship win in Dubai, in 2005, and was ninth overall and fourth in GT1 at Le Mans last year. The team was ninth overall in the Le Mans series in 2006, while Antonio Garcia was second in the Le Mans series drivers' championship.

Plans for 2008:
A full season of Le Mans Series events is planned for the DBR9, with an exciting and rapid driver combination of Team Modena regular Antonio Garcia and experienced Czech racer Tomas Enge. Garcia has completed more races in the Team Modena car than any other driver, including twice racing at Le Mans, while 31-year-old Enge has raced in Formula One and has DBR9 experience with Aston Martin Racing - including the American Le Mans Series and Le Mans itself in recent seasons.
